UPT PKM UNIB Global Scientific Writing Competition (UGLOSWC) 2024
We are excited to announce the opening of the UPT PKM UNIB Global Scientific Writing Competition (UGLOSWC) 2024. This competition is an excellent opportunity for international students to showcase their research and writing skills on a global platform.
Theme
The theme for this year’s competition is “Innovative Collaboration of the Young Generation in the Society 5.0 Era to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.”

- Abstract Submission: August 30, 2024 – October 7, 2024
- Abstract Selection Results: October 12-13, 2024
- Full Paper Submission: October 13 – October 22, 2024
- Full Paper Selection: October 23 – November 6, 2024
- Finalist Announcement: November 8, 2024
- Participant Confirmation: November 9-10, 2024
- PowerPoint Submission: November 11-15, 2024
- Technical Meeting: November 18, 2024
- Finalist Presentations: November 19, 2024
- Closing Ceremony: November 20, 2024
Participant Guidelines
- Eligibility: Participants must be active students (Diploma and Bachelor) from any country, as proven by a scanned copy of their Student ID Card or a related official document from their university.
- Team Composition: Teams must consist of 2-3 members, with one designated as the team leader. Team members can be from different study programs or faculties, as long as they are from the same university. Each participant can be part of up to 2 submissions.
- Submission Limits: Each team may submit up to 2 entries, each with a different team leader.
- Originality: All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not have won any previous competitions. Additionally, they must not be under consideration in any other competition, as confirmed by an originality statement.
Registration Requirements
- Online Registration: Participants must complete the online registration at https://uptpkm.unib.ac.id/s/UGLOSWC2024. Additionally, all members must follow the Instagram account @uptpkmunib and provide proof via screenshot.
- Submission via WhatsApp or Email: The team leader must send the required documents via WhatsApp to +62 895-6214 58835 (Elwan) or +62 852-6782-5602 (Fades) or via email to uptpkm@unib.ac.id using the following format:
Subject: UPT PKM UNIB Global Scientific Writing Competition (UGLOSWC) UNIB2024_Registration_Team Leader’s Name_University Name_Sub-Theme.
